Dr. Hwang is a native of Los Angeles, CA. After completing medical school at Touro University in California, he attended the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency in Wausau, WI, where he graduated in 2018. After graduation he continued to work with the residency as faculty.
His clinical interests include management of chronic diseases such as Diabetes, COPD, hypertension, as well as all aspects of adult and pediatric medicine.
He is married, has a young daughter, and enjoys spending time with family. Outside of medicine, his interests include sewing, woodworking, and reconditioning or repairing old cars, and machinery. He has supreme interest in how things work and believes the fundamental of understanding anatomy and implications of changes to that anatomy is the same in a human body, a machine, or piece of fabric; the difference is in the implementation.
