WomenHeart

Nearly 60 million women in the United States are living with heart disease. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women in the United States.

WomenHeart is a national organization dedicated to improving the lives of women with or at risk for heart disease while fighting for equity in heart health. They do this by providing high-quality, patient-centered programs and services that empower women and promote equality and inclusiveness through collaboration and synergy. Knowing facts about heart disease can protect your health and the heart health of the women in your life.

WomenHeart Support Group - Santa Barbara

Support Groups are led by WomenHeart Champions, trained patient volunteers who live in Santa Barbara County. Meetings are an opportunity to connect with other women in the community who are at risk of or living with heart disease and to share encouragement. Guest speakers occasionally join to present the latest information on heart disease and health.

Free of charge and open to the community. Click here to view upcoming dates. Meetings are currently held in-person at the Pesetas Multi-Specialty Clinic at 215 Pesetas Lane, Santa Barbara.

Please email WH-SantaBarbara@womenheart.org with any questions or to be added to the Santa Barbara WomenHeart mailing list.
