Star ratings are based on responses to survey questions that focus on a patient's likelihood to recommend the provider's office to family and friends as well as the provider's care, including whether the provider listened carefully, spent enough time with you, explained things in an easy-to-understand way, and seemed to know important information about your medical history. Press Ganey averages and converts all survey responses into a single star rating, with five stars being the highest.

I am ever so grateful that Dr. Curhan presented the UroLift procedure option to me for my enlarged prostate issue. "I had the Urolift procedure on June 9, 2018. I was apprehensive about it, of course, but I simply could not believe how simple it was. I was wheeled into the operating room a little before 1 pm and I came out from the mild anesthesia at 1:20 pm feeling perfectly fine. I asked if the procedure had been done as it didn't seem possible it could have taken so little time. The after recovery period was very rapid and I was home by 2:30, feeling just fine. This procedure has dramatically improved the quality of my life, most dominantly in the area of not having to get up three or four times each night to urinate. I had very little postoperative pain, and it was gone within 24 hours. I was back to my usual self within a day, and could easily have gone back to work but for the fact, I'm retired. For anyone considering this procedure who has concerns about its efficacy, I can't endorse it strongly enough. Dr. Curhan has done many of these procedures and he obviously knows what he is doing and I am deeply appreciative!"
