MyChart at Sansum Clinic
Important Update:
As we transition from Sansum Clinic’s MyChart to Sutter Health’s My Health Online, access to schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments online will be temporarily paused from October 24 through November 10.
This message was shared by Dr. Kurt Ransohoff October 2025.
We have made tremendous progress with our integration into Sutter Health. By now you may have seen the new Sutter Health signage at our sites—a visible sign of the deeper connection between Sansum Clinic and Sutter Health, a trusted, not-for-profit provider of care across California. I want to share an important update about the final phase of this transition, and one we promised to communicate clearly when the time came. That time is nearly upon us.
Soon we will begin the move from MyChart to My Health Online, Sutter Health's secure patient portal. Your health record is safe and secure, and your care team, health history, access to appointments, test results, and messages will remain accessible, but you will notice some changes in how you access certain information. Please keep an eye out for an email on or around November 1, with instructions about what to do and who to contact if you have questions.
While this is a big change for our team members (we appreciate your patience with them as we navigate this transition), this should not represent a significant change for you. Sutter and Sansum have used the same electronic health record system for more than a decade, and bringing them together will be invaluable in streamlining your care over time.
We understand that change can bring questions. We’ll be here to guide you every step of the way. Thank you for trusting us with your care—we’re proud to continue serving you with the same compassion and excellence you’ve come to expect, now with even greater resources and support.

My Life, My Health, My Way, MyChart.
MyChart, our secure patient portal, is our preferred, and most efficient method for staying in touch with your medical team in between clinic visits. MyChart gives you secure, anywhere, anytime access to key medical and account information.
One of the most exciting features of MyChart is that it provides you with direct online access to key parts of your medical record. MyChart allows you to view your health information, such as lab results, appointment information, medications, immunization records and details about your doctor visits. Whether you are at work, on the road or at home, you can view test results, messages from your doctor, and your key medical information. You can even access your family's records* and request your next appointment online.
We are excited to offer some new MyChart features to offer shorter telephone wait times, quicker access to appointments, and more accurate and efficient billing/payment processes.
