About
Dr. Ashlock was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. Before leaving for the Dutch Antilles to Saba Island for medical school in 2005, he worked as a Santa Barbara City Beach lifeguard and as a math teacher at Dos Pueblos High School and Santa Barbara Junior High School. After residency and fellowship in San Diego, followed by a Critical Care position at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Dr. Ashlock returned to Santa Barbara to practice Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
