How are star ratings for providers determined?

Star ratings are based on responses to survey questions that focus on a patient's likelihood to recommend the provider's office to family and friends as well as the provider's care, including whether the provider listened carefully, spent enough time with you, explained things in an easy-to-understand way, and seemed to know important information about your medical history. Press Ganey averages and converts all survey responses into a single star rating, with five stars being the highest.

About

  • Dr. Lee's path to Sansum Clinic crisscrosses the four corners of the country. After growing up in the Southeast, Dr. Lee attended college (Barnard) and medical school (NYU) in New York City. Residency in Los Angeles (UCLA) and fellowship in Baltimore (Johns Hopkins) led to 10 years in private practice in Washington State (Tacoma) before joining Sansum Clinic in February of 2013. Education is vital to achieving good outcomes. It's my duty and passion to help my patients understand their condition, treatment options and expected results so they may be best in control of their health.
