Dr. Ahmed earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and completed her family medicine residency at Community Memorial Health System in Ventura. Before medical school, she coordinated pain management research at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and completed a Masters in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at Johns Hopkins University .
