Volunteer Program

The Cancer Center is deeply indebted to the volunteers who work thousands of hours each year to deliver kindness, grace and warmth to our patients, staff and members of the community. Volunteers work in many capacities including: greeting patients, providing assistance in the Infusion Suite and Boutique, performing music in the lobby,  event support and more! Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and have completed high school. If you are interested in volunteering at Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, please reach out to VolunteersSC@sutterhealth.org

Volunteer Greeters

Welcome patients, caregivers and members of the community with kindness and compassion.
Assist patients as they arrive for appointments, serve tea/coffee, navigate from the entrance to registration, help with forms, etc. Some shifts extend this support to patients in the Infusion Suite and Boutique.

Volunteer Musicians

If you play an instrument or sing and are willing to donate your time to help brighten our patients' days, please reach out!
Perform solo or in an ensemble. Volunteer one-time or on a regular basis.
A great way for students to prepare for a recital or just to perform fun music!
