On-site Ultrasound Diagnosis
Our department has a state of the art ultrasound machine dedicated to the diagnosis of various thyroid and parathyroid conditions. The use of ultrasonography enables our endocrinologists to accurately biopsy thyroid nodules in the office. This is often possible the day of the consultation, as a convenience to our valued patients.
Cross-Disciplinary Approach to Diabetes Care
Patients with Diabetes can often experience complications from their illness, such as kidney disease, disorders of the nervous system, heart disorders, or eye disease. It is important to have access to a team of healthcare providers who understand your complete healthcare needs and work cooperatively to maintain the most appropriate diabetes management strategy. Sansum Clinic's many specialty departments and integrated approach to care allows our department's providers to work closely with the Sansum Clinic network of specialists in nephrology, cardiology and ophthalmology, as well as other related fields.
Appointments & Scheduling
We make every effort to accommodate our patients by coordinating patients pre-requisite appointments prior to their consultation with the provider. If patients are traveling from our of the area we do our best to coordinate same day appointments within the Endocronology Department or within Sansum Clinic. Our referral coordinator works closely with new patients to help facilitate the gathering of information and testing pertinent to each individual patients care.
