If you or a loved one receives a diagnosis of cancer, you may feel overwhelmed and may have many pressing questions. One powerful tool to guide you in your journey through cancer is knowledge. Becoming informed can give you confidence, comfort and a sense of control throughout your treatment.
In this section we offer the latest information on many aspects of cancer, including treatment, recovery, screening and prevention. Most of the information in this section is created by the National Cancer Institute, a highly regarded source of current, accurate health information.
In addition to the information you can access from this part of our website, we encourage you to visit our Cancer Resource Library for your information needs. At the Library you'll find an extensive collection of resources, and perhaps most importantly, our experienced librarian to help you identify and select appropriate resources. The library is located next to the lobby at our 540 West Pueblo Street location.
At the Cancer Center, we encourage patients and family members to become informed and to take an active role in their own care.
