In addition to Medical Oncology, Neuro-Oncology and Hematology services, our oncology patients have access to clinical research projects, nurse navigators, nutrition counseling, a cancer resource library, family and individual counseling and support services and a variety of patient wellness classes.
After earning his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, Dr. Berkowitz received his medical training through the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. Dr. Berkowitz then went on to complete the Medical Oncology and Hematology Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Berkowitz is also a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
