Mary-Louise Scully, MD
Mary-Louise Scully, MD did her postgraduate training at Yale–New Haven Hospital and Yale University School of Medicine. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and holds a Certificate of Knowledge of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. For 8 years she was a member of the Clinical Faculty at Yale University School of Medicine and an attending physician at the Yale International Health and Travel Clinic.
Dr. Scully is an Associate Editor for the journal, Travel Medicine Update, and is currently the Chair of the Professional Education Committee of the International Society of Travel Medicine. She presently serves on the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Subspecialty Exam Committee for Infectious Diseases. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chad Relief Foundation, as well as Direct Relief International non-profit organizations dedicated to global health and assistance and both based locally here in Santa Barbara. Dr. Scully has served as expedition team physician for Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society during their 2007 filming of Return to the Amazon.
