The Optometry Department (phone, fax, hours, directions) at the Sansum Clinic Eye Care Center addresses the overall health of your eyes through routine and comprehensive vision exams and many eyewear options.
Expert Eye Care in Santa Barbara
We have the only full-time glaucoma specialist and the only ASOPRS oculoplastics fellow in Santa Barbara, and the only pediatric ophthalmologist in the tri-county area. We perform more eye surgery than any other ophthalmology office in the area.
Optometry and Glasses
Our optometrists use the latest equipment and technology to detect vision problems and eye diseases before you become aware that a problem exists. Our comprehensive eye examinations consist of:
- Refraction for glasses and/or contact lenses
- Eye strain evaluation
- Eye health evaluation
- Cataract testing
- Glaucoma testing
- Visual fields and depth perception testing
- Color blindness testing
- Pupil dilation (as needed)
Comprehensive Optometry Care
The Sansum Clinic Eye Care Center is the only multi-specialty ophthalmology center in the region. Our Optometry office is under the same roof as our Optical Shop, Ophthalmology Department and Pediatric Ophthalmology Department.
