The board-certified specialists in the Sansum Clinic Infectious Diseases Department (phone, fax, hours, directions) provide clinical care and consultative services to patients, other physicians and the community on infectious diseases.
The department's goal is to provide the highest quality healthcare while helping patients manage their conditions, through research, prevention, and education.
Infectious Disease Services & Treatments
Particular areas of expertise within the department include diagnosis and treatment of complicated infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS, influenza, viral infections, diarrhea, tuberculosis, osteomyelitis, meningitis, endocarditis, antibiotic use and resistance, travel and tropical medicine, infections, and preparedness planning for biological emergencies. Primary care is also available for HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C patients.

Our Infectious Diseases specialists work in close collaboration with caregivers from other departments, including Internal Medicine and Travel & Tropical Medicine, to provide the most comprehensive care possible to our patients.
